Jackpot in Cincinnati Claimed
CINCINNATI – $265millioncincinnati’s first mega millions jackpot winner(draw date 18th April,2006) chooses to remain anonymous. He has chosen the cash option and claimed the prize through a trust named WFJ Trust at the Ohio Lottery’s Cleveland headquarters. Todd A Felthaus, trust officer for pnc bank, trustee, filed the claim. The $265 million jackpot was hit on April 18.
The winner chose the cash option value of the prize, totaling $148.1 million. After tax withholdings, the trust will receive a check for $102.2 million.
The ticket was sold by a Kroger store located on West Corry Street in Cincinnati. The winner purchased an auto lotto ticket with five wagers, winning on the fourth line. The winning numbers were: 13-14-25-34-50+6.
This is the Ohio Lottery’s eighth Mega Millions jackpot winner, the second highest jackpot ever won in Ohio.
